Reply from the Irish government on the proposed Economic Development Projects on Kuril Islands

In May 2015, we sent proposals of cooperation to different European countries, regarding the economic development project of Kuril Islands.  We received the reply from the Prime Minister Office (Office of Taoiseach) of Ireland on this. Upon the request of Mr. Enda Kenny TD, Taoiseach of Ireland, our proposal has been passed to the country’s Minister for Foreign Affairs & Trade.

Recently, we have received the reply from the Minister for Foreign Affairs & Trade of Ireland on this. His Excellency commended on our work in attempting to find a constructive resolution to the territorial disputes in the Kuril Islands and in facilitating economic development. As for the territorial disputes of Crimea, we have raised a similar proposal of turning it into to a special economic zone to resolve the issue. We are confident that President Putin of Russia would agree with and support these two proposals in resolving the disputes in a peaceful way with everybody win.

We look forward to having cooperation with Ireland, Russia, Japan, the U.S. and different countries on the development projects on the two proposed special economic zones in Kuril Islands and Crimea, as well as other international projects in the near future, to promote peaceful settlements on territorial disputes and striving for the welfare of humanity.
