We visited the Embassy of the Republic of France for the second time, since our first meeting in March, 2014. We had pleasure to meet with Mr. Philippe Devaud, Attache of Cooperation of France Embassy again, with his colleague, Ms. Clémence Mirgalet, Programme Officer, Governance and Legal sector, for exploring further on our cooperation with France.  We have been having communications on the various proposals sent to President François Hollande in the past few months, since our last meeting.  We believe this meeting was instructed by the top government officials of France for more in-depth discussion on our collaboration.

We had discussions on different cooperation proposals, including the establishment of the Alliance’s Headquarters in France and the large-scale economic development project of setting up a “China City” in France, with an expected investment of USD20-30 billion, for developing tourism and launching large-scale property development projects.  We are convinced that these initiatives will be win-win for all parties concerned, and would help create numerous job opportunities and further accelerate the economic development of France.

Furthermore, we also had exchanges on our invitation to a respectful lady from France as recommended by President Hollande, to join the First Ladies Association as the Honorary Global CEO in Charities and Humanitarian Aid, with the Alliance’s proposed donation of USD 1 million for setting up a Charity Foundation under this lady’s name, for carrying out different forms of charities in France and other parts of the world.  Besides, we have also raised the proposal of holding the first event of the First Ladies Association’s world-wide fundraising series in France in the lower half of year 2015.  We are going to invite the well-established corporations and international women product brands in France to participate in this event, where they could promote their merchandizes to the First Ladies and tourists from different parts of the world, with their charitable donations.  In addition, we are also planning to have cooperation with the French government and corporations in the Association’s first key project on the mass construction of public washrooms for the females in India.  Mr. Devaud would report to his government and follow up on all the above proposals, and we look forward to joining hands with the respectful lady from France in striving for the benefits of women and the underprivileged.

Furthermore, we have also introduced our recent new initiative of upgrading the Alliance into an organization similar to the United Nations, and have invited France to be one of the permanent member states of this organization.  We look forward to starting close collaborations with France soon on a number of large- scale economic development projects which will be win-win for all parties concerned, with the support and positive feedback from the French government.

We were honored to receive the warm reception extended by H.E. Mr. Armen Sargsyan, Ambassador of Armenia to P.R.C. at his Embassy, after H.E.’s visit to our Hong Kong’s Head Office in August this year and our previous meeting in last March.  Ambassador Sargsyan conveyed to us that he had reported our previous meetings, as well as our cooperation proposal regarding the First Ladies Association to his government for consideration. H.E. would keep close contact with us for follow-up and further collaboration with his country in different aspects. We also shared with His Excellency on our new initiative of turning the Alliance into an United Nations-like organization with reference to the structure of the UN, and we would continue to focus our work in three areas: Economic Development, Humanitarian Assistance and Promotion of World Peace.  H.E. showed great interest in that and would report to his government.

At the Embassy of the Union of the Comoros, we met with Ambassador Mahmoud M. Aboud who was the old friend of the Alliance whom we had established friendly relations with when the Alliance first established. His Excellency was greatly impressed by the rapid growth and achievement of the Alliance now associating with close to 120 countries, whereas the Alliance started out working with only a few of the small countries two years ago.  Ambassador Aboud was very thankful for the generosity of the Alliance of donating eye glasses to the people of his country in the past, and greatly supported the ideas of the First Ladies Association and transforming the Alliance into the organization like the United Nations. H.E. informed us that our letter of proposal regarding the First Ladies Association has already been forwarded to his government for consideration, and he would keep close contact with us for the follow up.  We would also like to express our gratitude to Ambassador Aboud for His Excellency’s kind arrangement for the transportation of the Alliance’s delegation in Beijing. To show our appreciation and support to the Embassy’s activities in different aspects, the Alliance has made an offer to donate a vehicle to the Comoros Embassy in Beijing. Mr. Ambassador was delighted to learn about this and appreciated our offer.

We were delighted to be greeted warmly by H.E. Mr. Daniel Owassa, the Ambassador of Congo who was also our old friend, with his Counsellor and diplomatic envoys together, at the Embassy of the Republic of the Congo. Our Assistant Executive Chairman presented a brief update of the Alliance’s recent activities, new initiatives and co-operations with different countries. Ambassador Owassa highly complemented on the Alliance’s effort in promoting world peace and showed great interest in our Crimea project proposal, as well as our work in enhancing peaceful relations among the two Koreas. His Excellency also expressed interest in the Alliance’s new initiatives of the First Ladies Association and the idea of upgrading the Alliance into an organization similar to the United Nations. H.E. informed us that he had forwarded our proposal and the relevant information regarding the First Ladies Association to his government, and would further follow up on this with us.

We would like to once again extend our heartfelt gratitude to Ambassador Owassa for his generosity and kind arrangements in offering a vehicle for the delegation’s transportation during our stay in Beijing. As a token of appreciation for the staunch support from His Excellency and the Embassy, the Alliance is in the process of donating a 7-seater vehicle to the Embassy of the Republic of the Congo. This not only would help advocate the Embassy’s economic development activities, it would also build a stronger tie and enhance related cooperative affairs between the country and the Alliance.

In the Embassy of the Republic of Cyprus, we had a meeting with the new Ambassador, H.E. Agis Loizou and Commercial Attache’ Mr. Petros Petrou whom we met twice in our past two delegation trips. Our Executive Chairman, Mr. Sunny Wong presented an update of the Alliance’s recent activities and donations to different countries for economic development and humanitarian assistance, as well as our work in promoting peaceful relations among the two Koreas and between the State of Palestine and Israel. We also touched on the Crimea project proposal with the Russian government, the First Ladies Association and the idea of transforming the Alliance into the organization like the United Nations. His Excellency conveyed to us that he would report our various proposals and initiatives to his government, for potential cooperation with his country.

We were warmly received by Minister Ms. Rosemary Mashaba in the South African Embassy.  It was our third visit to the Embassy since March of this year.  Ambassador Dr. Bheki W.J. Langa whom we met twice in the past couldn’t join us this time due to his other commitment back in South Africa.  Nonetheless, it was a very fruitful meeting with Minister Mashaba who highly complimented our work in humanity and greatly supported the event of First Ladies Association.  Minister Mashaba even suggested we should also invite the former First Lady of South Africa, Ms. Winnie Madikizela-Mandela to join the Association as she could help to bring in substantial good changes to this world with her popularity in South Africa. In addition, Minister Mashaba showed great interest in our idea of transforming the Alliance into the organization like the United Nations, and she was very supportive to this initiative as it could help different countries, particularly the small countries, to strive for a fair share in the international arena.  Minister Mashaba would report our proposals to her government and keep contact with us for follow up.
