We were pleased to have the opportunity for first meetings with the Ambassadors and diplomats of Jamaica and the Republic of Kenya on the third day of our trip.

We met with Ambassador Ralph S. Thomas and Minister Counsellor Ms. Jacqueline Bell at the Embassy of Jamaica, where we shared with them the latest development of the Alliance, such as the possible cooperation with the Russian government of turning Crimea into a Special Economic Zone, the First Ladies Association and the idea of transforming the Alliance into the organization like the United Nations. Ambassador Thomas had shown great interest in our work, and we agreed to keep in touch for potential cooperation with his country in future.

It was our honor to be warmly received by Ambassador Michael D.M. Kinyanjui at the Embassy of the Republic of Kenya.  Ambassador Kinyanjui highly complimented the work of the Alliance and fully supported the ideas of the First Ladies Association and the transformation of the Alliance into an organization like the United Nations. He conveyed to us that our letter of proposal regarding the First Ladies Association has already been forwarded to his government for consideration.  Ambassador Kinyanjui believed that our proposal of working with the Russian government of turning Crimea into a Special Economic Zone could be the best solution to the crisis, as the profits from the economic projects go to charities in Ukraine, Crimea, Russia, the third world countries and developing countries.  Our Executive Chairman Mr. Sunny Wong has extended the invitation to Ambassador Kinyanjui for visiting our Head Office in Hong Kong for further exploration on the potential cooperation with his country. In addition, H.E. was happy to learn that the Alliance will be offering scholarship to three students from Kenya.

We paid a second visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Maldives, after the meeting in our last Beijing trip in June this year. Our Assistant Executive Chairman presented a brief update of the Alliance’s recent activities, donations, new initiatives and co-operations with different countries to Mr. Asheer Abdul Azeez, Charge d’ Affaires and First Secretary of the Maldives Embassy whom we met with last time.  We also shared with Mr. Azeez that the Alliance is going to apply for nominations for Nobel Prize in the year 2015 for our work in promoting world peace.  Mr. Azeez was particularly interested in our scholarship programme which provides financial assistance to students from all over the world who are in need, and we welcomed the recommendations from his Embassy for eligible students in Maldives to apply for our scholarship.  Furthermore, Mr. Azeez appreciated our First Ladies Association and commented that this would be a very effective approach for making the world to be a better place through the soft power of these ladies. In addition, he was also impressed by our idea of upgrading the Alliance into a United Nations-like organization which can help the small countries to fight for a fair share in the international community. Mr. Azeez showed great interest in this initiative and would report to his government. In addition, Mr. Azeez informed us he had sent our letter of proposal to his government and would keep close contact with us for follow-up and further cooperation with his country.

We met with Ambassador Abdullah Salleh Al-Saadi in the Embassy of Oman, where we talked about the current affairs of the Alliance, such as the Crimea project with the Russian government, the First Ladies Association and the idea of transforming the Alliance into an organization like the United Nations. Mr. Ambassador has offered to refer us to the top government officials of his country for potential collaboration. In addition, our Executive Chairman Mr. Sunny Wong has extended the invitation to Ambassador Abdullah Salleh Al-Saadi for visiting our Head Office in Hong Kong to further explore on the potential cooperation.

We paid a visit to the Embassy of Togo and met with Mr. N'danadjé Bahoumodom Kamana, Charge d’ Affaires and Minister Counsellor of the Embassy, who is our old friend and a staunch supporter of the Alliance, with his colleague together. We discuss about the Alliance’s recent activities, donations and new initiatives. Mr. Kamana showed great interest in our new initiatives of the First Ladies Association and the idea of upgrading the Alliance into an organization with the functions similar to the United Nations, and he would report to his government on this. Mr. Kamana also briefed us on the current development of his country and their needs and we had meaningful exchanges on our further cooperation.  In addition, Mr. Kamana was very glad to learn about the offer from our Executive Chairman, Mr. Sunny Wong, on the donation of a vehicle to the Embassy of Togo, in order to support the economic development activities and to enhance related cooperative affairs between Togo and the Alliance. He was very grateful to our offer, and expressed deep gratitude to the Alliance on behalf of his government and Embassy, on our great support to his country.
