Bosnia and Herzegovina
Bosnia and Herzegovina is located in the central part of the Balkan Peninsula. North, west and south-west boundary lines divide the country from the Republic of Croatia, east boundary lines from the Republic of Serbia and south-east boundary lines from Montenegro. Bosnia and Herzegovina is administratively divided on two entities: the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (51%) and the Republika Srpska (49%). The capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina is Sarajevo.

Bosnia and Herzegovina has a population of around 3.8 million inhabitants, of which approximately 48% are Bosniak, 37.1% are Serb and 14.3% are Croat. The major religions practiced in the country are Muslim, Orthodox and Roman Catholic.

The currency of Bosnia and Herzegovina is Konvertibilna Marka. Its economy relies heavily on the export of metal as well as on remittances and foreign aid. The major export countries are Alovenia, Croatia, Italy, Germany and Austria.
