The Alliance has granted scholarship to a number of students from different countries, as recommended by the respective Embassies in Beijing, in order to help those underprivileged students to pursue higher education overseas.

Here are some of the cases in which scholarship has been granted for the academic year 2014-2015. The students and their respective Embassies have expressed their gratitude and appreciation to the Alliance for our support and granting of the scholarship.

Students from Afghanistan

Mr. Abdulsalam Hamdard

My name is Abdulsalam Hamdard and I am from Afghanistan. I was graduated from orphanage high school in 2013. I am the first person in my family who attend university. I was granted a full scholarship by the International Boundless Fellow Alliance of Economic Development and Aid to study my bachelor degree in China. I entered the central orphanage of Afghanistan in 2005. I was one of the top students of my orphanage. When I was younger it was my dream to pursue my higher education abroad. I am very happy that my dream came true by the generosity of the Alliance. Now, I am a freshman of Civil Engineering in HARBIN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY.

Mr. Aimal Haidari

My name is Aimal Haidari and I am from Afghanistan. I was born in Kapisa province. I finished my school in the central orphanage of Afghanistan in 2013. I did many social activities inside and outside of my orphanage and I was a good scout in my school. I was granted a full scholarship by the International Boundless Fellow Alliance of Economic Development and Aid to pursue my higher education in China. I select civil engineering because my country really needs engineers to build it.  I am a first-year student of Civil Engineering in HARBIN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOHY. Last but not least, I would like to thank the Alliance for their generosity.

Mr. Yasin Rahimi

My name is Yasin Rahimi and I am from Afghanistan. I finished my school (1-12 grades) in the Central Orphanage of Afghanistan which is called Parwarshga High school. I was granted a full scholarship by the International Boundless Fellow Alliance of Economic Development and Aid to study my bachelor degree in China.

In my childhood, I had a goal to be a civil engineer and there were many reasons but just want to mention two of that why I wanted to be a civil engineer. Firstly, I was one of the top students in my school. Secondly, I am determined to pursue advance studying. Every human being has got a dream, but my dream was to study my higher education in one of the best universities, which has been come true by the Alliance. I am pursuing my bachelor degree in HARBIN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY and my major is Civil Engineering.

We received a letter of appreciation from the Embassy of Afghanistan to P.R.C. on the scholarship granted to three Afghanistan students who are currently pursuing their undergraduate degrees in Civil Engineering in China. The Embassy expressed its sincere thanks to the Alliance and commented that the support from the Alliance is immensely admirable.   In view of the severe financial difficulties encountered by these 3 students, the Board of the Alliance had specially approved to cover their accommodation and living expenses for their studies in China, apart from tuition fees. This was a very special consideration by the Alliance under such exceptional situation.
